Häxan by Yo Diablo
"Häxan" is the second album release of the Spanish duo Yo Diablo. Their next full length album is a personal interpretation of the soundtrack of the Danish movie "Häxan" directed by Benjamin Christensen and released in 1922. A hundred years later, Yo Diablo pays tribute to the silent horror movie with this instrumental and experimental music album, influenced by the ethiopian-jazz of Mulatu Astatke, the tribal jazz guitar of Gábor Szabó, mediterranean folk and 70's pyschedelic rock.
