A sound-silhouette and shadow print of the artists which used to live at Convent, one of the last art houses in San Francisco which closed down in October 2023.

Housing artists in residence since 2010, the inside of the building was completely filled with bizarre paintings, sculptures, murals, art supplies, grime, and the abandoned possessions of nuns.

The majority of the music on this album was written in the Convent by and with people who lived there, which just before it closed was just a house full of queer artists living together under harsh city conditions making the most of life by making things.

Hear what happens when a violinist physicist, and a strange-tundra composer living at an old arthouse in Sf decide to write some music together.
