Ancestral Home by Lianza Reyes
Ancestral Home is a bittersweet ode to the coming of age story, mixed with stories of trauma, death, self-love, colonialism, and womanhood. Modeled after Warsan Shire and a few other literary influences, it explores a trajectory of self-growth.

Lianza Reyes is an aspiring journalist and poet rolled into a clumsy young adult. She published An Inaccurate Self-Portrait in 2016. Currently, she is also pursuing her bachelor's degree at Syracuse University.
