Naarm/Melbourne artist and library worker Lee Hannah releases ‘Wild’ - the first taste from a collection of small miniature moments compiled in deep lockdown. Wild is sourced upon field recordings taken upon the banks of the winding Birrarung ‘Yarra’ river juxtaposed with the gentle yet persistent hum of the 12-lane M3 Eastern Freeway. The field recording fades in with a collection of improvised bell and synth loop-compositions. It’s the beginning of a new era that sees the artist temporarily moving away from pop music of Market to a more insular and environment-inspired textural experience.
Wild is the first taste of their new album due out in November 2021.
