Dubchla by Notzing

Dubchla is a sonic exploration where dub and abstraction merge into a fluid, shifting space. Created entirely with the Buchla 200t and mixed live, the album blends fragmented rhythms, elastic basslines, and immersive echoes with spectral textures that constantly evolve.

There’s no rigid structure—sounds unfold and dissolve through hands-on manipulation of multiple 207t mixers and the 296t spectral processor, which reshapes the harmonic spectrum in real time. External processing is applied subtly, enhancing depth and atmosphere while preserving the raw essence of the Buchla.

More than just techno or dub in a traditional sense, Dubchla is an exploration of space and timbre, where rhythmic elements emerge and fade, sometimes leaving only traces of sound floating in the void.
