I wrote this song about numerous experiences and struggled with trying to articulate the problems that I suffer with in terms of mental health - to loved ones and those close to me.
This song is about the struggles of explaining what it feels like to deal with manic and irrational behaviour, as well as the deep, deep sadness, voids and pain that come with a depressive cycle. It shows the point of view from both sides. I want to provide understanding for both sides of the problem for relief and reassurance.
It goes through a story that might be familiar to some; something that you can only truly understand if you experience it. In instances where you feel like you have no control, and you don't know when it will end. But it usually ends in disaster or suffering, over extended periods of time.
To all those out there just surviving, you're absolutely smashing it. Keep up the great work.

only to get out of bed one day and spend just under a grand, to cancel appointments with my shrink cause they are 3 months in advance
man by that time, I’ll probably be in India or maybe France, I’ll be erupting with euphoria in a crazy or blissful trance
