Jan Dark is from Germany, but somehow he wound up in Paris a long time ago where he’s been carving out a reputation for himself as an all-round pianist and singer. Since the mid-’00s, he’s been performing songs of joyous despair in smoky bars and music venues all over Paris, instilling gloom and vigour in equal measure.
