Saga Tveir by Imij

Saga, an Imij tale of Norse mythology, continues with this, the second chapter, Tveir. The legends contained in these Imijes are further elaborated upon in the accompanying 'Saga Tales by Imij' (found inside the album download's bonus content only).

Join me as we recount the rush to slaughter Fáfnir, with the weilder of Gram,

- As we crawl among the half-chewed níðs daring to escape Níðhöggr,

- As we fight beside our Vikingr brothers and sisters ready for Valhöll,

- As we witness the son of the hanged god triumph over the father of the ski lady,

- When we watch in amazement with the Vanir, at the god of a good year's magick,

- As we feel unnerved by King Jörmunrek's orders for his (to be trampled) love,

- As we sit with Alföðr, while he inducts the latest carrier of the slain,

- When we encounter a death that even the most knowledgeable Æsir did not foresee,

- As we size up these Æsir alongside the giantess upon the snake witch stone (as she bests them at strength, cunning and guile),

- As we relax with the shining one, while he rests in his hall at heaven,

- When finally, when we are caught up in the doom of the gods, during Surtr's chaos.
