Three Rivers by HERE

Three Rivers, quiet threads through the map of days, carrying names of villages long settled in the dust of memory. It speaks in the language of light on water, in the slow, patient gravity of stone and sand.

I watch it carry rain to sea, and secrets to the dark, the way it remembers every footstep that paused on its banks. It asks nothing, only continues - a pulse of water and light, insisting on becoming more than it is.

Between sighs of current and the hush of reeds, I find my own turning, a reflection not quite the same as me, a gentle knowing that nothing ends here but changes locations, like a river learning the map of a coastline year by year.
