Character Flaw by Gold Foil Hum

“Character Flaw” is the debut album from ambient post-rock artist Gold Foil Hum. Described as the soundtrack to all of his favourite films, he adds “Every song was written as an alternate score for movies I love. There’s a song called Coin Tosser on the record, and it’s what I imagined No Country For Old Men would sound like if the Coen Brothers had put music in the movie.”

The ten song release was mixed to cassette tape & built from all of the strange, left field ideas Hosh developed producing other artists in the studio.

“Every time I did something weird sonically, and the artist wanted me to pull back, I saved it. If it was scary to them in some way, I knew it was good.”

Gold Foil Hum is the ambient post-rock venture by Toronto producer Dan Hosh.
