How lucky is the experimental underground electronic scene to have Michael (nnirror), for us he is a real activist, there is not a day that goes by that he doesn't surprise us with a new development of his software or with new concepts or strategies to create new ways of making music, synthesizing sounds or twisting them to create new ones, simply fascinating.

He is not only a great activist but he has a great ability to conceptualize all his research in amazing tracks like the ones you can hear on his new album. This is surprising since we are used to this profile always being, we could say, lost in his research just looking for new models or ways to surprise himself. This can really be addictive, so much, that you never see the end of the tunnel, but it is a blessing that in this case we see how all the efforts become something that we can all enjoy on a musical level, which makes this album, if possible, something even greater.

In the Author's own words:
When I make a nirror album, my goal is to condense energy into highly concentrated forms. I try to make something with enough depth and breadth in its structure that ideally someone would want to listen to it again.
I view generative art as a compositional strategy for starting this journey and finding inspiration along the way without wasting time stuck in a 4-bar loop or whatever. I come up with ideas by exploring and modifying the software I've created, and I then collage together different parts that I've generated to create a sort of blend between procedurally generated and manually edited sound. I look for material that emotionally resonates with me when I combine it randomly with something else. It should feel like it was inevitable, that it makes sense why it happened that way.
