Yapa by Entrañas
Our protégé @entranas, one of Ecuador's up-and-coming artists, returns home with his first solo EP. ‘Yapa’ is an exploration of the frontiers of global club music, blending unique Latin American rhythms and flavours with classic electronic music sounds. Drawing from Ecuador’s rich cultural heritage, these three tracks provide the closest approximation to what we might call Latin Bass.
The remixes add a sharp and multifaceted energy that will resonate both in and out of the club. First, @upsammy delivers her purest version in the territory (80 — 90 bpm) that has established her as one of the finest DJs and producers of the moment. Additionally, we decided to feature two of our favourite techno acts of the moment, @fireground and @1morning, who deliver exhilarating, hard-groove reminiscent breakneck reinterpretations of good late 90s — early 2000s iconic sound.
