Midwinter's Gift by Double Keyed
It all started when Kirstin was baking Christmas cookies the day after Christmas in 2021. Somehow, the cookies inspired the idea for a Christmas album and so here we are! Midwinter's Gift is our first recording project as Double Keyed—an instrumental piano/oboe/English horn project with classic Christmas songs arranged and produced by Nashville’s own Phillip Keveren.
Since Double Keyed initially connected because of Frances's Portraits of White Winter Concert, we felt it would be appropriate to make our first album a collection of favorite Christmas tunes!
