This music has come to mean a great deal to me as a way of connecting with others. It springs directly out of a desire to connect with and to listen to others. To form relationships and to create things together.

This recording documents my current state of accumulation and selection. These instruments and objects have for the most part been sourced from thrift stores. I keep finding new ways of exploring this collection of rescues, combining and combing through ideas iteratively.

Recorded late one night at [undisclosed location], then a couple of days later I added another larger bowed cymbal at home. The added cymbal layer is played back at half speed. I enjoy the contrast between the layers.
