Waves Remixed by Canopy of Stars

This project began with an attempt to remix ‘Gravitational Waves’ from my first album. I always felt that the original version I recorded didn't entirely match what was in my head. Having learned a lot about music-making since it was first recorded seven years ago, I felt I would like to have a go at an alternate version of the track to try to realise my vision. It is probably the most painstaking piece I have ever worked on. During the early stages of working on the remix, I invited three friends whose music I admire to remix the other tracks from my first album. I also decided to attempt a remix of one of the ‘Waves’ tracks that bookended the original album. I love the paths my friends took with the source material, and I hope you enjoy this release.
