The Search by Sean O'Bryan Smith, Cheryl Pyle, Brannan Lane

The Search is an experiment of mixing ambient soundscapes with elements of avant-garde, free jazz and post rock. The album was created by Smith using archived sessions from the private analog tape collection of Brannan Lane. Smith then recruited noted New York free jazz flautist Cheryl Pyle to add a unique touch. The project began nearly twenty years ago and is now finally found its home at Wayfarer.

Brannan Lane is an award-winning artist and producer of Ambient music. His work can be heard on Dateline NBC, Spike TV, Univision, Outdoor Channel, and Sony Play Station. Brannan's warm sonic textures emit a relaxing energy that pushes its way into your senses, bringing you into a celestial dream-filled coma.
