Fresh from releasing their ‘Metamorphic’ vinyl EP on legendary UK label Tempa, relentless DJ and production duo BLUMITSU are back with another club-ready electro 2-tracker on their imprint, BLUMITSU™ LABORATORIES.
Title track ‘Pinahoelada’ takes the listener on an exhilarating journey into late-night club euphoria with droning, distorted bass accompanied by rolling drums and a haunting melody line. The sensual vocal is in equal parts soulless and playful – a future underground anthem tinged with remnants of summer nostalgia, guaranteed to do damage to any dancefloor.
Stripped-back electro roller ‘Molecular Levelz’ complements this with an undulating low- end loaded with glitch-like effects and mystical pads, steadily building into a dramatic breakdown followed by a crescendo of enchanting strings, acidic bass and the signature BLUMITSU percussion.
As the third release on their label, ‘Pinahoelada’ further solidifies BLUMITSU on their path to becoming global leaders in exploring forward-thinking, exciting iterations of electro and techno, whilst honing their unique blend of UK-influenced production with captivating vocals and themes of science and futurism.
