Tendril Talk is Baumarius's 16th album, featuring 11 original tracks and several remixes, as well as covers of "Winter (The Wind Can Be Still)" by ConcernedApe and "Take This" by Gemini Syndrome. When purchased, your download comes with 2 additional mixes of Petrichor. All tracks were mastered at 176.4khz.

In regards to the cover art, several people have asked me, "What's with the tears?" Some time ago I wrote a message to a few of my closest friends. Since then, some of those friends have become closer than ever. For some, the result was disastrous. Throughout the album (but especially "Hope"), I have distilled that message. This is what I said:

"I feel like I've found the most profound meaning in the universe within myself - and yet I feel so small. Infinite power bubbles up from this wellspring, culminating into my form, my vision of life, and the love and passion I want to share with others. We have a finite capacity to share this infinite moment, and yet most do not even realize that that is what we are here for. I stand in my circle before the universe, eyes ablaze with love; beacons in the distance… A lighthouse for my friends, until the lights go out and they ask, 'Where have you gone?' Perhaps to some distant star, or nowhere at all. I know nothing, and yet in my hands I hold some fragment of truth. My hand is outstretched in invitation, but my voice is but a whisper in the presence of the spirits strangling the souls of those around me. I must remain alight, on the off chance that someone like you might catch a glimpse and take my hand. The weight of the pain I bear is great, and I do not desire to face it alone."

Though all that we love may or may not be lost, I know that life and love is still worth that price - and I want to live that truth even as I'm staring death in the face. With all that said, I hope that Tendril Talk brings you some measure of peace, hope, and inspiration. May love win in these coming times.
