Albularyo by Imelda Marcos
Chicago's Imelda Marcos are back with a new EP, 'Albularyo', the band's latest exploration in their unique blend of angular math and experimental rock. Previously an instrumental duo, Dave Cosejo and Matt Durso return with new vocalist Donna Diane (also of Djunah), whose presence rounds out the band's sound with a confident and bold intensity. The vocals, guitar, and drums all play off of one another in a dynamic and unsettling way, taking the listener through an unpredictable experience.
